Parts cost too much

I have 12 craftshops making parts as fast as I can, but still my fleet of locomotives needs more and more repairs I cant make. I need more crankshafts, pumps and thermostats.
Oh, and if I try making more than basic parts then that takes all my money.
Please fix the cost and efficiency of making parts.
